How does the aquarite percentage output work?

Just out of curiosity, is it an on off cycle cycle type thing, like 50% being on 30 seconds off 30 seconds, or is it a current based level?

On/off. I believe there are a few lengths of cycles, but 50% would be on for 60 of 120 seconds as an example.

"At 70%, it will generate for 126 minutes and then it will stop generating for 54 minutes. While not generating, it will say percentage met.

Then, it will reverse polarity and a new 180 minute cycle will begin"

Thanks. So when it's not generating, is the generating light still on?.
Reason for all the questions is that I have a suspicion my rs485 controller isn't doing the right thing, and I'm trying to figure out how to confirm.

The Generating led stays on when the switch is in auto even when it's not actually generating.

The instant salinity and the amps will be zero when not generating.

Note that the Aquarite will show the average salinity by default. It will not say Percentage met.

ProLogic will say percentage met.
