Help! Second year pool owner and this year we have what appears to be algae settling on the bottom of the pool. It is to powdery to be sucked up. What can I do besides empty pool?

Welcome to TFP!!!

You have a fairly small pool by the looks, might be easier to drain and replace.

If you want to clear the pool, we can do that.

How do you test your water? Do you have a test kit? If not, get one. Link-->Test Kits Compared

If you have a test kit we recommend, post a full set of results and we'll help.

If you don't, add 3ppm of liquid chlorine PER DAY until the test kit arrives, nothing else.

When the kit arrives, or if you have one, follow the SLAM process to clear the pool. Link-->SLAM Process
