OK now I see how you came up with that number. As @IceShadow said, you should check FC after your last addition to get a real baseline. Keep at it! I thought my 32 gallons over 5 days was a lot, but yours must be way over that!

Yeah I lost count. But I quit the slam. But still maintaining about 10 fc just to see what it's gonna do

Didn't lose any chlorine last night! Not sure why it didn't lose any. But I will take it! ?

Seems alkalinity and ph are rising. Anything I need to be concerned about?

Alkalinity won’t rise without additions of chems. pH will. Add muriatic acid to bring it back down to 7.4 or 7.6 when it gets to 8.0. Over time the muriatic acid will reduce the TA as well.

Ok I'm confused my alkalinity when from 80 to 120 in about 3 weeks. Any ideas why?

No. Only liquid chlorine.

I do have some calcium scaling on the walls. That seems to be dissolving off the liner. Could that be raising the alkalinity?

Yes refill water is extremely low

No. That is calcium.

TA only rises from chemical addition or high TA fill water.

Check your testing process. Is this a new bottle of R0009?

I swear I've only used liquid chlorine. And yes my kit is new and dates are good

Sometimes a static electric charge can build up on the R-0009 dropper bottle tip, causing the drops to be smaller than usual and making the test read higher than actual. You can prevent this by wipping the tip of the dropper bottle with a damp cloth or tissue before you start and after each drop.

When I test my refill waters ta this is what I get
5 drops of R0008 1st pic
Then after 10 drops of R0009 2nd pic
