Hey everyone - as spring begins and we're spending more time outside in the yard, it's harder to justify putting off getting the pool ready for activity. Having been unimpressed with the techno-gadget I used to monitor chemical levels for the past several seasons, I'm basically starting over from "oh gosh it got green fast". Thanks in advance for the posts I know I'll find where you've detailed your experiences - especially the ones that will save me some time and trouble!

Hey Tom and Welcome !!!

Get yourself a reliable test kit, and we'll be your training wheels for as long as you need. All 4 kits use Taylor reagents, but both TF kits whoop their Taylor counterparts for value. Like the TF100 VS K2006 in that price bracket. The TF100 comes with 2.7X the reagents. Go ahead and argue against that. I'll wait. :ROFLMAO:

The TFpro comes with a $45 stirrer, a nicer case, and better supply amounts for how we test things versus the comp price k2006C. Again, I'll wait for a counter argument that can't be thought up. Unless you have Amazon gift cards to burn maybe.

Both TF kits come in a salt version adding the $30+ salt test for only $20 more, making them even better values if applicable.

Tom,

No "techno-gadget" can take care of your pool as well as you can.. Once you get your pool back in shape, it should only take about half an hour of your time a week, to have a perfect pool...

Belated welcome to TFP.. It appears that you joined in 2020 and this is your first post... Is that true, or do we have some kind of data error??

Thanks,

Jim R.
