I was literally just sitting down to order more of the drops haha! Thanks for the tip I will do that also! You can test FC with 5ml sample and each drop is 1ppm of FC. Save on reagents.
I added 1/4 cup diluted in a bucket as suggested and the filter bumped up about 1 psi. Checked it 30m later it was +4 psi. Just checked now and was +9 psi and backwashed and added more!+1. It will do its thing and clog the filter quick when it’s just dead algae. If the algae is still growing, it will probably clog as fast as you can add the DE.
But once it’s just lightly cloudy, have at it.![]()
It reduces static electricity on the tips of new bottles. After a while you shouldn't have to wipe.. but I still do just in case. Habit. Also TA reading. Why do we need to wipe the tip with a Dang cloth? I must know
Ahh okay I got ya! I just like to know why I need to do thingsIt reduces static electricity on the tips of new bottles. After a while you shouldn't have to wipe.. but I still do just in case. Habit.
Thanks!Nice job on the SLAM. Relax a bit now your numbers are fine. Keep your FC on the high side of your target range for your CYA FC/CYA Levels Test your fill water for TA to anticipate trends after topping off for evap and splash out. Your pH should rise over time, monitor and enjoy your clear pool now. Monitor your daily FC loss before raising your CYA. Maybe you should deep clean your sand filter.
I will post over there for sure!Very nice work! That's what I'm talkin' bout! That looks like a TFP pool! You should submit that pic to thread:
How Clear is TFP Clear? Let's See (Pics Only Please).
Well here's a quick shot I took last night. Can't find my wide angle lens so it's a quick 'n' dirty with my 5D2 and my Nifty Fifty. Tell me again why I wasn't using TFP for my first few seasons of pool ownership? m.www.troublefreepool.com
All of these skills will transfer if you ever decide to go in-ground...
