My Hayward heater is acting up. When I turn it on the light on the Aqualink control panel lights up, and you can hear the built in relay click but it remains dead. It has 240V at the heater, but no power on the low voltage lines. Should this low voltage be 24V?

Heater make and model number?
If the heater is gas, is the gas valve on?

Tell us a bit more about your pool by filling out your signature.

Yes, the gas valve is open. I’m trying to determine if the Aqualink panel should be feeding 24V to the heater.

No, the Aqualink does not provide 24V to the heater.

The Aqualink heater relay just closes the 24V circuit that powers the heater. The 24V comes from the heater transformer.

What model number heater?
