Hayward Omnilogic Heat Pump Heating Past Max Temperature Setting

Looking for any ideas on this. I have an Omnilogic setup that has been working great with valve controlled solar heating for years. I added a Hayward Variable Speed Heat Pump to the system to give my system a boost whenever solar was not available. I added the heat pump slaved to the omnilogic as a smart heat pump. The system works well, except for one issue which is pretty critical. In the morning the heat pump will start first because solar is showing no heat available - good! Then the panels heat up and solar takes over and shuts down the heat pump - good! Solar will then carry the pool to max heat temperature and shuts down around Noon - good! Here is the odd part, pool is now at max temperature and as soon as the solar shuts down, the heat pump mysteriously starts itself and begins to heat the pool. Now the temperature is climbing above max and will continue to climb because there is no temperature to reach. If I set the pool at 87, I will have a pool at 92 by the end of the day. I have tried a lot of different things. Solar max is set to 87, max is set to 87. I have shut off extends on both heat sources. I have deleted both heat sources in omnilogic and rebuilt from scratch. Anyone have any experience with this issue?

I think I solved this today. To answer Chris' question, it is a Hayward HeatPro Variable Speed 95K BTU Heat Pump. It is connected via cable, not relay, and is showing RC on the screen for remote control. This has been consistent. I tried everything including shutting down, rebooting, changing every parameter, and at one point deleted both heat sources (Heat Pump and Solar) and rebuilt. Today, I went all the way, and deleted the pool completely and rebuilt the whole thing based on something I read on another post. I started over. Today, it worked exactly the way it was supposed to work so I am going to call this a corrupted data set and fixed by deleting everything and rebuilding. Thanks!
