My pool is equipped with a freeze sensor. If it gets too cold, the pump kicks in. I’m able to set the dial to a specific temp for it to kick in. What temp should I dial it to?
Mine is set to 35 degrees. It is on a south facing wall in a protected area and tends to stay warmer as a result. I want it to come on when actual temps are close to 32 and this works well for me. YMMV. Any higher and you're just paying for more electricity.
