Not really. Just squeeze it a lot and it will all go away.should I be adding the cya at a quicker rate? So far I haven't quite added 4 lb.
It's possible your pool is a different size that what you think. That is quite common. As long as your info in the Poolmath calculator is correct, it's fine. Don't forget to update the WEIGHT field on the FC row. By default I think it goes to 6%. Make sure your bleach is really 6% and not 8.25%. Other than that, your pool may be slightly smaller than you think. Over time you'll get it figured out. But for now, get all the stabilizer in the water so you know the CYA is at least 30, and maintain that FC of 12. That's very important. Have a nice weekend.is it possible my gallons are off from the pool math calculator? I tested the fc about 15-20 min after adding the bleach and I got an fc if 14.5 and my goal was 12.
