Florida sunseeker opinions?

Well I responded to their email, which they sent to me within minutes, and requested a model number for the light I bought and sent a picture of the Pooltone light you posted and asked if it was ETL certified why isn’t it engraved on it. I gave it a while but never got an email so I just called. I was told that all their lights are stamped ETL except for the one I bought. He told me it was because the housing style has an LED bulb inside of it and ETL requires an LED bulb, that’s in a housing, to have a built in fan on the bulb. Their bulbs do not have built in fans so they couldn’t get it “certified”. Sounds about right to me but I’m not sure what I want to do now??? If I went back with a new Amerlite I would put an LED bulb in it anyways. I think I’m going to send it back, I just really couldn’t find a lot of reviews on the Florida Sunseeker lights.

I thought all of their lights were LED?

So, that would mean that none are ETL listed?

Ask them to send you a picture of any light stamped with the ETL mark.
Lol…my work is complete with this deal. I’ve uncovered more information about those lights than I’ve found anywhere else on the internet. Supposedly their bulbs are ETL stamped also, there’s some people in here that have the LED bulbs so maybe they can look and chime in about the stamp.

Are you going to use the lights or no?
No I think I’m going to order another Amerlite, im going to send this back tomorrow. Im sure it would be good but I have little girls that will be in the pool, it will bug me forever knowing it’s not up to code. Probably put an LED bulb in the Amerlite tho, have any recommendations?

There are some models that are listed at Intertek, but those model numbers don't seem to be listed anywhere on the Florida Sunseeker website.

Also, the Florida Sunseeker website does not seem to show any signs of Intertek or ETL listing for any models.

This is the only product that claims an ETL listing.

I continue to be in the same situation. I have a new Amerlite coming tomorrow and a new panel with a 300w12v transformer. Swapping the old 120v amerlite out for a 300w12V and had every intention of placing a color changing LED bulb and new gasket on the new amerlite. Are there any LED color changing bulbs that are UL listed that we know of of or am I stuck with the incandescent it comes with?
