Thanks for the links I've read through them as well as reviewed instructions from the equipment that I have.
Process I have drain pool below bubble Jets. This will expose the sundeck. Use shop vac or air compressor hooked into the pump. Blowout main drain then close shut off valve . Blowout skimmers then seal with rubber stoppers, put piece of noodle in skimmer to allow for ice expansion. Remove bubble Jets cover with hole in it blowout bubble Jets and install sealed cover turn off valve to bubble Jets. Blowout return lines and seal with rubber stoppers.
Blow out line to deck Jets.
I'm not sure the best way to seal deck Jets in the concrete decking? I could not find anything from the manufacturer pentair on how to winterize?
Do I have to do anything with lights? I don't think they'll be exposed to air but they'll probably be close enough that they will freeze.
When pool water is below 60° raise chlorine level to slam and cover pool.
Does sound about right? I also read that some people use antifreeze and lines and others don't what's the best practice? Seems like cheap insurance to put a little in the skimmer, bubble lights and deck Jets lines.
