Ok so I'm keeping up that POP. And FC levels. I have seen some more improvement today. Gonna swap the filters when my husband gets up.
I'm wondering if it would be advisable to vac to the filter now that it's cleared some more. We have been hesitant to do so because of not being able to see what the heck is down there, but, when I brush I get big white flakey buts and big green black guys (I'm thinking bleached out leaves and algae). Is it possible for these things to clog my lines and make a big problem? I don't wanna break anything, but I think if I could get this stuff out with the vac instead if swirling it in the water when I brush and the slowly waiting for the skimmer to grab it, it would move the process.
Basically I terrified to vaccuum, but I feel like I should do it! The pool people put this fear in me that if I vac to the filter before I can see the bottom I will do irreparable damage to something.
Here is this morning pic. Gonna get one a bit later when the sun is higher and you can see the water and not just shadows, but idk if you guys can see it, but that I'd the bottom of my deep end without an iota of cloudiness!
