Interested in a Dolphin M600 robot but wondering how nicely, or not, it will work with an in-floor cleaning system. The in-floor system cannot be bypassed or disabled. Has anyone operated both? Many thanks for any help you can provide.

Adam,

A robot would not work well any time the pop up heads were in the "up" position..

Other than that, a robot would not really know the difference between a pool with an IFCS, and one without and IFCS..

In my opinion, spending more for an M600 vs a cheap S200 is not really going to clean your pool any better.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Probably shouldn't be running the pump and robot at the same time - with or without an infloor system. Or at least not be running the pump at full speed.

I agree with Jim, the S200 cleans just as good as the M600. The M600 just has more bells and whistles (gimicks) and costs more. Call Margaret at Marina Pools in Colorado for a recommendation on what might work best for your pool. They might also be the best price around.

Fill out your signature with your pool info, equipment and test kit.

If your pump is off or VS pump at a low speed the pop ups won’t be working. Also if you want to completely disable the in floor system you can pull the gear pack.
