I have a Dolphin DX5-S that would start and work awhile and then shut off, though now it doesn't move. I have gone through and tested all electrical and everything is spot on all the way to the motor assembly. After taking apart there is no water damage inside the motor compartment, cleaned the impeller and now when I turn unit on, it makes a high frequency sound and the impeller moves for about half a second and then stops. The power remains on and nothing else happens.

1. Any ideas why the unit may be behaving this way?
2. Is there anything I can do in the motor compartment to check each of the (3) motors to determine if one is bad?
3. Any thoughts or direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Dan

Dan, Welcome to TFP :)

It may be awhile before someone comes along or if someone has even taken one apart.. Sounds like it may be time to take it in and get it repaired.. :)
