Ahh. there is a 3ft wide flowerbed already, when it is all said and done I am installing artificial grass in the entire back yard.
2 reasons,
1. With the limited area in the backyard all the places our dog releaves himself just end up dead.
2. No mowers, no skeeters, no mess, you still pick up after them (do that daily)and otherwise just rinse the areas weekely to "flush" them. I will add two more French drains so I can turn on the lawn sprinklers and let them flush nightly if I want!!!

Looking at or near March 11th to dig and depending on Mother Nature total completing is April 11th.
I will feel much safer about emptying that greenhouse March 1st.

I have such a BLACK thumb it is not even funny! Now give me a puppy or kitten to "grow" and they like weeds! LOL

Yes, very real. I have about 30 blooming plants and they smell wonderful when all in bloom...
Beautiful! What will you do with them next winter? Just set up the greenhouse elsewhere in the yard?
NO, thinning the heard, 90 plants are simply to many. I will keep quality specimens and sell the rest (40-60 depending on if I lost any) I will line the back yard with them and a few in front this spring. Next winter I will build greenhouses over them. not dig them up and move them.
There are 6 plants in the green house that range from 12ft tall and 8 ft wide to 14ft tall mature trees. I have at least 20 that are 4ft to 6ft 3ft in diameter at the top.

Pool color we chose is not in stock and they will have to build one, 4-6 weeks build time plus shipping delays. We are NOT going to settle for a color that is in stock so it is fine.
In the long run this delay helps us out actually!! I can build the flower beds and have the new places for the Plumerias...

2. Delays moving the utilities which means we are not on a close deadline. Like that!!!
3. Insures when complete, we write 1 check and pool is paid for.....

Below is a general schedule of events leading up to pool installation. Please note that this is not an exact schedule; variables such as weather, contractor scheduling, your city/county requirements and product availability can all affect your project.
The pool installation steps are listed below. Please remember that during this time, this will be a construction site; there may be large equipment, there will be different work crews and it can be messy. Please be patient during this process—it’s worth it!

- I have ordered your pool and it is being built; it is scheduled to be delivered to our Texas distribution center on the week of 3/17.
- I will have your dig test (“call before you dig”) scheduled in the next 2 weeks.
- Currently, Drew is working on getting your HOA and City or County Permit process started as needed.
- When the HOA and permits have been attained I will confirm your pool delivery date with you.
- Approximately a week before installation, our Installation Manager will meet with you, verify pool location, talk about any concrete &/or tiling to be done and post permits.
- A few days before installation, another dig test may be organized to make sure we are digging with plenty of clearance of any utilities.
The pool installation steps are listed below. Please remember that during this time, this will be a construction site; there may be large equipment, there will be different work crews and it can be messy. Please be patient during this process—it’s worth it!
- Excavation of pool site
- Screed floor where pool will sit
- Deliver and set pool equipment location
- Partially fill pool with water
- Backfill around pool with gravel
- Install plumbing and electrical
- Do pre-concrete work: set concrete forms and rebar
- Pour concrete / let cure / take off forms
- Any additional work per contract such as tiling or spray decking

Back when we discovered the color was not in stock, the salesman said 4-6 weeks in production and up to same time frame for shipping. Looks like it could be installed just in time for our Daughters weeding!!!
