Concrete pool construction help

We would like some pool construction advice. We have an in-ground rectangle poured concrete pool. The concrete shell was poured last year. As the floor was very uneven, the contractor made a concrete mix to level the floor which he made 1.75" thick on top of the base slab and he laid down thin wire mesh (some of which is visibly protruding through the new concrete layer and they suggested to cover those bits with hydraulic cement) this mesh was not attached to the walls, just placed on the floor and the 1.75" of concrete mix poured on top. We noticed after it rained that there are many tiny air pockets (whistling sounds and small bubbles in this new floor and we saw many tiny holes). They were preparing to apply 2 waterproofing coats of Sika Top 107 before Bond Kote and then River Rok plaster finish. Is this floor going to be OK, do we need to do something else? It doesn't seem OK to us to see these tiny air pockets.
Also, the concrete walls have some larger holes (as they were not vibrated properly) which they were planning on filling using hydraulic cement before applying the Sika top and finishing, does this sound OK? Please help with advice!

Welcome to TFP.

Can you share some construction pics and how the pool floor is now? @bdavis466 may have some comments.

thank you :)

attached are some photos (the floor "levelling" really didn't level it too good either) we took a short video of the bubbles but unable to upload it here. The mix they used for this 1.75" floor layer was some small gravel, white sand and cement on the wire mesh.

Hi there, if anyone has any advice about the pool floor whistling with small air pockets and what to do if it needs to be corrected, please let us know! the video in the link above shows it. As the pool floor was uneven, a concrete mix of about 1.75" thick with thin wire mesh was poured on top of the base concrete slab (some of the mesh is protruding through the new concrete layer, is covering these bits with hydraulic cement a good fix?) We noticed after it rained that there are many tiny air pockets in this new floor. The plan was to apply 2 waterproofing coats of Sika Top 107 and then Bond Kote and then River Rok plaster finish. Is this pool floor going to be OK, do we need to do something else? Thank you!

Covering the wire mesh with hydraulic cement is fine. The mesh definitely needs to be covered before plastering the pool. The small air bubbles/pockets are not a problem. The plaster is what provides the watertight layer. The sika and bond kote are also helpful.
