New to pools (SWG, 5000 gallon FB pool), and as the weather is finally starting to cool down I'm wondering what the process is to close the pool. I'm not sure we're going to swim much once the water temp drops below 80. Whats the process besides less pump run time?

Less run time and perhaps going to liquid chlorine if your water temp drops below 60F which might interfere with SWG production. If you expect a deep freeze like we did in Texas last Feb, be sure to keep the water moving so it can't freeze, or drain the equipment so that nothing freezes/swells.
