Wrapping up our first year with a pool. Closing will be in 3 days and current chemistry is below. Anything I need to do in the next 3 days? Or are these numbers ok going into closing? 14,000 gallon vinyl liner salt water pool in NY.

Welcome to TFP.

Considering how wrong Pool Store testing can be your PS test results are as good as any for your closing.

Who is closing your pool?

I suggest for next season you get your own test kit and get familiar with TFPC methods...

Thank you! Our builder is closing the pool, as well as installing a mesh safety cover.

The pool has been crystal clear and chemistry readings in check all season (beginners luck I guess) which is why this is my first time here.

I was thinking of adding acid to reduce the pH; could the high PH be why the combined chlorine is so high?

It is always good to keep your pH in the 7's.

pH does not effect CC. Again, we don't trust Pool Store tests and would not make any chemistry corrections based on them.

Do you now what chemicals your Builder will add at closing?
