Hi all,

Been doing some digging regarding this issue with the pool motor:

Century V Green Evo Variable Speed Motor THP1.65/1.50

We purchased the home in July of 2023 and the motor was already installed. I recently noticed no circulation in the pool. I went out to check the equipment and noticed the motor wasn't running but had power. The top of the motor has a single button and the light on it flashes six times before pausing very briefly and then resuming the flashing pattern.

I have checked the power at the breaker box, and at the Intermatic timer, switching both on and off to no avail. When the power gets kicked back on it just resumes the blinking pattern with the motor not turning over.

Here are images of the motor model.

Any advice and help in finding the solution would greatly be appreciated!

Try turning the breaker off for at least 5 minutes before sending power to the motor again, it may help. Sometimes the computer just needs to "reboot."
A manual for the motor is attached.

Thank you, I spent a bit over five minutes shutting everything down as suggested above.

The provided manual also suggests:

FLASHES ERROR
CONDITION
ERROR RESET CONDITION
6 Communication lost. Check low voltage connections
between VGreen Evo motor and application board (3-wire harness).

I also opened up the lid to get to the connections and tightened the screws/made sure everything was in order, placed the lid back on, tightened the screws, and turned on the breaker and the time. It still has the 6 flash pattern. Everything is correctly connected at the timer box.

Leave it off for twenty minutes that may do it
Thank you, tried this for way longer than 20 minutes, and still didn't work. I had our pool guy check it out and he said it was done. Not sure if he was just saying that to make a buck or if it is truly fried. But now need to look for a new pump and re-plumb the lines. He mentioned Pentair and Jandy as being top performers for variable-speed motors in California. Going to dive deeper into the threads and do some research of my own to educate myself about pump options.

I am a noob when it comes to the pool equipment.

I appreciate everyone's feedback.
