You can use either one, but "DO NOT" mix them together as they will explode if you do.

If you use a bucket to mix the chemicals, make sure that the bucket is perfectly clean before adding any chemical.

Leslie's in the shopping center @ sproul rd and state rd in Springfield has 12.5% liquid shock in 4 packs for a reasonable price (like $22-$24)
Ollies @ granite run has 10% jugs for $3.98 (Limit 10) Id call first though, they had like 12 cases left on Sunday.
Ace Hardware usually has the 12.5% jugs for $6.. so does the Walmart on state right @ the 476 exit in Marple Crossroads SS
I suspect that @BassPlayingDude would probably deliver it and pour it in the pool if you needed.
