CAS Salt cell not working well - T-Cell9-U

I seem to be having trouble with my Salt cell. This is my 3rd summer with the new pool and haven’t had any problems with the Salt Cell up until now.

I recently cleaned the cell, but that doesn’t seem to be the issue.

I’m not very knowledgeable with the equipment, so I’m reaching out here to those who might be more savvy.

I seem to be getting power and water is flowing through just fine (from what I can tell). At this point I’m thinking maybe the sensor is not working.

Attached is the reading from Omnilogic app’s diagnostics and a picture of the cell I have.

I’ve always noticed the salt level readings are way off, but don’t know how to calibrate it properly.

Looking for guidance on what to do next. I’m using liquid chlorine to keep levels up at the moment, but need this salt cell back up and running properly.

Thanks for any help!

Welcome to TFP! The cell isn't too old, so hopefully it's not that. I was looking at your test logs and concerned about organics overwhelming the FC. Some of your FC levels dropped here & there. Did you ever do a SLAM Process when you opened this season? Regardless, I would first start with an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test. Let's rule out a heavy organics load before assuming the equipment is faulty. Cells just can't keep up with organics.

Not sure if this is conclusive for organics.
Yeah, I would call that a fail since the cover was on. Rain is really not a factor on our chemistry unless it's a full-blow torrential episode. I would be suspicious of organics for sure. Time to consider the SLAM Process. :(

@Texas Splash just wanted follow up here and say thanks for your help. Since doing the SLAM, my SWG seems to be working fine and keeping up no problem.

A slightly adjacent issue: is there a way to calibrate the salt reading in the app? It’s showing 5000ppm in the app, but I’ve done multiple tests (with my local pool store) and am getting 2900ppm. The readings in the app have always been way higher than actual tests, so is there a way to calibrate this?
