Calcium mineral deposits on tile and rock features

How do I prevent the deposits? I had it sandblasted about a year ago and that worked great, but now its back. what chemical tests do I need to look at and what about adding metal out occasionally?

That is either efflorescence or waterline scale or a combination. Neither are caused by water chemistry issues. Best you can do is blast it clean periodically.

I did the sandblasting about 1 to 1.5 years ago. works great but very costly. now its back!
