So it looks like I had kept my PH too high and it looks like my pool has white calcium deposit stains on the bottom of the pool which is pebble. I even noticed on the side of pool tile, it had built some calcium deposits which were hard as rock! I actually got rid of this daily by pouring muriatic acid directly on the rock calcium formation and it did get rid of it day by day.

I believe muriatic acid is the way to get rid of these calcium stains on the bottom of the pool ground, but how do I get the muriatic acid under the water in order to get rid of the calcium stains? Would simply bringing my PH down below 7 for a period of time accomplish this so i can scrub off the white stains? Or is there a better way?

Some people have used these tools by Purity Pools to help do spot etching … Buyer beware - concentrated muriatic acid can be very damaging to a plaster surface and should be used with the utmost of care. You take full responsibility for its use and the outcomes that occur.
