How can I remove the bottom of the Pentair inner core cartridge from cartridge canister. parts of core broke trying to remove. Bottom piece of inner core broken and stuck.

Sadly, you're going to have to break that up into smaller pieces and replace the part.
I am thankful for all your help. I been sidetracked for a few days. Will let you know how it works out
Finally, I was able to extract the broken core from the cartridge. In the end, I took apart the entire cartridge so I could remove the core. Hopefully, it is fixed. 
Were you able to remove the bottom core piece? This recently happened to me and the core comes out when I remove the filter. The pool store is trying to get me to replace the entire filter, but if I could just replace the center core, I feel it would solve all my issues. I really need to figure out how to get the bottom of center core out so it can be replaced. I have no leverage to pull it out.Finally, I was able to extract the broken core from the cartridge. In the end, I took apart the entire cartridge so I could remove the core. Hopefully, it is fixed.
