Beach entry with salt water. Need waterline edge material suggestions.

Excavation and rebar in. Waiting on an inspection.
We are going salt water with beach entry.
Stonescapes mini pebble cool blue with abaloni finish most likely.
Looking for ideas on what the beach at the waterline should be.
Going charcoal leuder coping with ivory travertine deck.
Pics of some salt water pools with a beach entry and what material at the waterline?

I know others will pop in but from the beach entry ones I have see n on here, which I think is an awesome design, has typical tile for waterline tile. the beach entry on one has stone with mortar joints I remember. in the area where it was very very shallow to no water. if the plaster is exposed in that area it will dry out so that's why they has stone.
