Just curious, Im a so cal pool tech, not a strainer banger, not a typical scp, superior, npt, etc... person. Anybody else out there do this for a living?

Some of our members are "in the industry", but you will find that most of us are just regular pool owners, trying to help other pool owners..

I don't really understand what most of your things you say you are "not" are. I guess I'm not up with all the lingo lol.

SCP, Superior and NPT (National Pool Tile) are pool supply wholesalers.
Possibly the OP is referring to the typical pool maintenance/cleaning personnel that get their supplies at these wholesalers. I think we've all seen them in our neighborhoods... guys in old beat up pickups with no signage on them doing our neighbors pool maintenance once a week. Not sure what sets the OP apart from these guys - hopefully he will enlighten us.
