That took about a week for us, and then another week for city approval.Looking good! I'm still waiting for the freaking HOA approval.![]()
Nice! Have you picked out all the finishes yet?Yep, they are shooting the spa now and I'm guessing they will move to the steps next. I'm trying to get good pictures, but they have the protective tarps up blocking my view.
Haha, thats a sore subject right now. I thought last night we were all set, but "we" are having second thoughts on the tile choice as its hard to choose that from a sample.Nice! Have you picked out all the finishes yet?
LOL.. oh yes...that is going to be fun. It really is hard to pick from just looking at a single tile, imagining what it will look like all around the pool. Are you doing the same tile for the spa/pool transition area as the water line? I'm thinking that I will want that to be different on ours. Have you already decided on the pebble sheen color? Honestly, I'm thinking that will be the hardest decision.Haha, thats a sore subject right now. Right now we are doing:
Wall - Philadelphia split face
Coping - White Walnut travertine
Tile - My favorite is Noble Coringa Islet, but my better half is not convinced
Once we are done with the samples, I'm sure they are headed your way.
I was thinking the same thing about the tile, 1 main color and then an upgraded glass tile on the spa dam wall. We went last night to see one of his pools that is a few weeks ahead of us and liked that they had a single tile through the full pool, especially where the dam wall meets the pool tile (less to try and coordinate).LOL.. oh yes...that is going to be fun. I think it looks good. It has a little bit of color/texture, but not a focal point, which is what we are going for. I gave the shell a good watering a second ago and didnt notice anything in the top corners, but will definitely check that out in my mid day pool watering. So pretty!!! Does it look as good in person! How did they handle the top of the corner? That can be a tricky place for some!
