Ok so with this pool install were toying with the idea of burying it 2' into the ground. The pool being 52", by burying 2 feet will stick out of the ground 28". This means it will be burried almost halfway. Anyone has done this? Pros? Cons? Is it a good idea?

Thank you.

It could void your warranty........saying that do what works best for you and your family. What are the reasons to bury it? Not bury it? Will you have a fence around it to protect your bundle of joy in your pic?

The wave alarms will drive you NUTS due wind and leaves. I like the motion sensors better by the pool. There are also driveway alarms that work great. That is what a few have used to know if a child or pet has gone into the pool area.

Hi Rod,
we’re in Miami and we toyed with the idea of burying it too.
It definitely would LOOK nicer but there’s a lot of issues to overcome.
You have the “legs” that you have to figure out how to deal with, you need to make sure that the hose connections remain above ground and you’ll need an interior ladder to attach to your deck to get in and out. Finally, you REALLY need to take care to line the hole with something so that your vinyl doesn’t get punctured (we used carpet padding, very nice).
We decided against burying it because we kept hitting limestone.
Best of luck!!!
