Adapter between return outlet and DIY aerator?

Hello all, I'm looking to build a DIY aerator like this, but how do I find the adapter to connect the plastic piping to the return outlet please?

Most pool returns are1.5" standard pipe thread. Not sure what they use in the UK

Most returns are threaded. Does your return have adjustable eyeball?

We used a Polaris fitting for our fountain. The wall portion goes in the return and then we snap in the fountain when its desired. Otherwise the return is just used for circulation.

I was just thinking last night about making this basic design but pointing them up to use as a cooling device. I was trying to figure how small i would have to make the holes to make the spray more misty.

There ya go.... 1/16th drill bit, graph paper and a little sand paper and you're all set.
