Look what covering the ends of the hose with a wash rag prevented. I don't know if this is rust or mud or if it's from the water or just the end of the hose. Also because I put empty plastic bottles on them, the ends didn't constantly sit on the bottom of the pool.

FYI this was the inside, next to the hose end, of the wash cloth. The outside was just discolored a bit.
The pumps are running and chemicals have been added. I wasn't there (I went with my son to Aubreys first dr appt so mommy could rest-we had mom on speaker phone so she could talk to doc!). Should I find out what was added? I hen should I begin my testing?
You can find out but the testing is the most important as that will tell us more of what you need or do not need. Really for right now your PB is in charge and unless something is WAY wrong we will not have you do much. BUT the testing will be the key.
How did Aubrey do? Is the doc happy with her? How is MOM? Had Dad slept at all? Did you give her sweet self a kiss from me??
Thanks all! Came home from work and discovered the pump wasn't running. Called and talked to the guy who did the start up and we have determined we have a bad breaker in the AquaLink box. Reset the breaker but after restarting the auto feature the breaker blew again. He will be out in the morning to replace it.
Do I need to worry about anything since the chems aren't circulating? Don't know when the breaker popped so I can't say how long it ran.
Marla I can't remember why, but I remember my PB showing me the breaker for the main pump and telling me that it would flip a few times during the first few weeks. And it did. It would work for a day or so then flip. Maybe 4 times? I don't really remember the reason exactly but it was something with my VSP and the automation or the box? It went away but I was like wtheck is wrong!
Chemicals are in the water most likely. And the pump circulates water which skims loose debris from the top and filters small particles from the water. It should be fine for a day.
