A Houston Pool Build Inside the Loop

Those are the ones I ordered!

It sooooo amazing to watch them do the Pebble! Essentially they apply a thickish coat, let it dry some and then spray it off. I can already see the shells and beads shimmering!

And as everyone has said before, a picture doesn't really capture it.

Congrats on the plaster! I feel so sorry for the unfortunate folks who don't know what the Orange and White cup is!

Lol Tucker!

Bmore, it's a Texas fast food place that is now in the south called Whataburger. They are distinguished by their orange and white striped roof (except in College Station where Texas A&M is- orange is not allowed!).

They also have a pretty good burger, but I like their breakfasts.

So acid wash will be tomorrow morning and then fill. Start up on Friday. Will I need to buy a brush for the pool or is this something the PB provides? If I need to get it, where is the fastest place to get one? Leslie's?

Look at your contract. It might be listed. If not call him and ask him. You will need one ASAP. Walmart sells them. You will need a pole. The pole will have many uses-brush, net, hook, etc.

LOL on the Whataburger! That is one of our go to places for burgers!

Marla I CAN see the shine! Dear one it is really true! YOU have a pool! After watching and helping with so many now YOU have one! :sunny:

Looking great by the way. Getting my sunglasses ready for tomorrow!

On my visits I usually only spend time in College Station. I'll have to get out more! I'm hungry now.

Thanks y'all! It is all very Smurfy! Kim, I looked at the contract and they provide pole, wall brush, leaf skimmer, test kit, vac hose and pool vac.

Bmore, I didn't realize you had been to College Station, aka Aggieland. Both of my kids are Aggies and engineers. You can certainly go to Whataburger in CS!

Wow wow wow! Congratulations Marla! A Grandma!! Do you have a special name you will have her call you or are you okay with Grandma? We tease my Mom because my boys have never been allowed to call her Grandma. She's "Glamma" because Mimi was taken and she says she's too "glam"orous to be a "Gran"... [emoji23].

Congrats on the plaster too! Can't wait to see that smurfy surfy water!

I haven't gotten the chance to hold her yet because when I saw her in NICU, she was being fed. The nurses also said they prefer the babies be held for at least 30 min, which with 3 of us having to take turns to visit, really didn't allow for it. But I'll stop at the house this weekend to see her.

Look at those little lips and those eyes! Oh my so wise already! MELTS from the sweetness!

Marla I wonder what test kit he will give you? One PB gave them test strips! LOL They went straight into the trash!

When will you have "pool school" with your builder?

Kim

Kim, as far as pool school I'm not sure. I believe they do the pool for 2 months though. Of course, I will be testing right along with them!

I have my 2 hoses prepped with wash cloths and empty plastic bottles rubber banded to the hoses. I filled a 5 gal bucket and it took 30 sec to fill with both in. So a 10k pool will take approximately 16.5 hours if I did my math correctly.

One other interesting thing. The PebbleTec sheet I was given titled Important Pool Care Information, says to wait at least 14 days before using the heater.
