It took me and my husband about a week to set this pool up, and yesterday with about 2 feet of water left to fill, one of the pavers cracked. I checked back this morning and 6 more have cracked in half. They are sitting on top of the liner that came with the pool, a fake grass liner, a thick black tarp, and cardboard under that. Beneath that is dirt we did our best to level, though I'm afraid the soil is too loose which is causing the pavers to crack.
Has anyone had this exact issue before? I assume we'll have to drain and start over again to dig down to some harder soil, but I'm not 100% confident in our ability to do this given we felt pretty good about it the first time around... The pool is full and somehow still level on 7 cracked pavers...

How thick are your pavers?

You should have leveled down to solid ground, then sunk your pavers to be even with the ground. This spreads the load. You are absolutely right that loose soil is part of the problem.
