We installed this pool in June of 2018. But I thought I'd post pics now to bring everyone up to speed on the current deck build. We purchased the pool June 2, 2018. The pool builders were 4 weeks behind schedule due to the wet spring weather so they told us it would be the end of June, possibly mid-July before they could do it. We didn't want to wait so we decided to install it ourselves.

June 4, 2018 Imagine the possibilities! The view from the concrete pad outside the side door the week before the pool was installed.

June 7, 2018 We began prepping and leveling the area before the pool was even delivered. We used a transit level borrowed from a friend in construction. This photo shows the markings where the posts will go.

June 6, 2018. Pool delivered. We had them unload it onto our trailer so we could park the trailer by the build site. Looking at all the boxes and cartons, we had some second thoughts about tackling the daunting task we had taken on but we were determined!

June 9, 2018 Didn't get a pic of the pavers we put under the posts, laying out the bottom rails, or unrolling the wall, but this shows the wall finally up! You can see the transit level on the right side of the pic with a bag over it to protect it from the rain.

June 10, 2018 The liner is in! Left the hose running in it overnight until the trucks could haul water the next day...

June 11, 2018 Fill day! I think it took something like 18 truckloads of water! You can see the hose sections from the truck laying on the ground.

June 12, 2018 The true test to a successful install is when you fill it! The water is almost perfectly level. Success!
We quickly realized we needed something other than mud under the ladder where the kids were getting in and out! Stay tuned for the patio and deck builds!
