I have tried everything. Can you send me the basics of how these pumps work please.

234,

The pump in the pic is an IntelliFlo pump and controlled by an RS-485 com cable.

Since the pump shows "Display Not Active" it means the pump is being controlled by your automation.

For the pump to run there needs to be a speed assigned to a circuit and then circuit needs to be on.

You can use the little 3" LCD and see what you have..

Menu, Settings, IntelliFlo, Make sure the pump type shows VS, (Do not change the pump type unless it is blank..) then make sure the Pool circuit shows some RPM.. Say about 1500 or so (Not important what it is just important that there is a speed.

Tell us what you find.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Sounds like an intermittent rs485 connection. Check the data cable at the pump end for corrosion. Also Check the data cable for a abrasion

When you install the new drive you need to set ot up to talk to your automation.

You were right, that is awesome pump 2 works great, has not worked in a year.
Now pump 1 main pump does not work. I did take the power off of relay 1. I wired the 2 pumps directly and removed power to the 1st relay and ran it to pump 1. Would that stop the pump from turning on?

I thought it would just not power the SWG.

Are both pumps intelliflo pumps with the data cable connected?
The screens you posted earlier showed no comms on pump 1, had you changed the settings trying to get the other working?
