New to pool care. A bit of algae from time to time

New taking care of our pool. I sweep the pool every 3-4 days and notice an occasional small spot or two of algae in some shaded spots. Nothing major and water clarity is great, but just not sure if that's normal or not.

All measurements with colorq system
13,000 gallons
FCL=3.09
TCL=3.63 (ran this test three and got some wild numbers. one was 4.09)
PH=7.4
Al-93
CH-278
CYA-49

Am i on the right track other than a potentially high TCL? Is occasional algae normal in a pool?

Welcome to the forum!

Algae is not normal in a pool.

With algae, we recommend following the SLAM Process procedure. To do that, you need a FAS-DPD FC test kit as your colorQ only goes to 6 ppm TC. Your SLAM level FC is 20 ppm as per the [FC/CYA][/FC/CYA].

I suggest reviewing Pool School - ABCs of Pool Water Chemistry.
