I personally use that as an ultra conservative estimate. It's better to find more FC afterwards and be pleasantly surprised.

Everso, 2 lbs per 24hours makes 14FC in OPs pool, and they should have picked up 7ppm overnight.

Scratch that, dumped a gallon of LC now so I don't drift down out of range again throughout the day.

Welp...left town for 9 days with fingers crossed. Came back to a crystal clear pool and a mid (hot direct TX summer sun) day reading of 5.5 on the FC.
