Pool heater not sensing pump

So the Jandy Lite2 is NOT controlling the pump with the extra board inside the heater? If so, then it sounds like you could have an issue with there not being enough flow for it to sense or that the flow switch is shot. I would first make sure your filter system is clean and any valves that you might have in the system are turned to the correct position. Once that has been accomplished, then you can go about checking the pressure switch in the heater. You can disconnect the two wires going to it and place a jumper wire between the two of them. If the unit fires up, you can pretty much assure the switch is bad. But first, make sure your filter system is clean and that if you have any valves in the system, they are turned to the correct position.
