    New pool waterline cleaning

Regular brushing will help keep the tile clean, but the main thing to worry about is the chemistry. Keep your CSI closer to 0 or slightly negative and you won't have issues with scale. See this article: Calcium Saturation Index (CSI) - Trouble Free Pool

Which pool vacuum, cleaner, sweeper for my 26' AGP?

Hi there, what kind of budget are you working with in terms of a cleaner? Obviously robots are better but more expensive than pressure and suction cleaners. Also, if you have algae, the solution will not be to vacuum but instead to follow the . Automatic cleaners are great for leaves and...

    Recommend basic vacuum setupfor AGP

I definitely understand! With pools there is always something newer, bigger, better, fancier that you see and want! Just prioritize what will make your life easier. Definitely get the pump checked out if it's brand new and not acting right. I think a sand filter would make your life easier...

    New Purchase - Dolphin Sigma!!!!

Thanks for the info. I will do a little more research. It seems that the Sigma is a residential version of the Dolphin C3 which is actually sold as a commercial unit, so I don't doubt you on the power. I was just wondering if you had particular reasons for choosing it over some of the other...

    panty hose

So my only thoughts are that the original polaris bag actually has a divider in the center to help keep the debris in the bag and from falling back out into the bottom. Panty hose would not be able to do that. It would just be a big bag without the U shape of the original.

New Dolphin Robots Dont Have Center Brush?

You seem to have it all pretty accurate. Unfortunately it seems the M600 is delayed and the IO line won't be until at least next year so the M500 is looking like your best bet for now.

    Scale on Tile

https://www.troublefreepool.com/blog/2019/01/18/calcium-scaling/ "Calcium scale can be very difficult to remove. Small patches of scale can be removed with a pumice stone. In mild cases, lowering your CSI to about -0.8 and brushing aggressively can sometimes remove scale, particularly when a...

Robot cleaner recommendation for small inground pool

Looks like the Polaris is narrower but taller than the Dolphins. Might be a good fit for you for tight corners. I don't have any experience with the Polaris robots so that's all I can say. See if you have a store around that carries them and ask if you can try one out.

    Robotic Pool Cleaner Expectations?

You got it, psdtime! You need the FAS-DPD chlorine test FAS/DPD Chlorine & CC's test to properly perform the SLAM procedure (key is MAINTAINING free chlorine at shock level until you meet all requirements to stop SLAMing).

    Robotic Pool Cleaner Expectations?

If you have algae, you need to SLAM the pool. SLAM - Shock Level and Maintain - Trouble Free Pool The robot will help collect algae but if it's continuing to grow that robot won't be able to collect it fast enough. You need chlorine, not a robot.

Robot cleaner recommendation for small inground pool

Jay, take a look at the S200/S300/S300i (these are the essentially the same robot with increasing feature upgrades like Bluetooth control for the higher-end version). The Active 20/30/30i are the same robot just a different case/name as are the T35, T45, and T55i. There are also the M400 and...

Robot cleaner recommendation for small inground pool

M600 was supposed to be this summer but it has been delayed for software issues. Should be this year. The IOx3 / IO series I believe is slated for next year. The IO series has sensors to map the pool (much more advanced than what is on offer now). The M600 doesn't have the new sensor...

Dolphin S50 and pool slopes? Cleaner recommendations

I would recommend the Echo, Encore, Solo, Doheny's Saturn or Nautilus CC. These units are designed to clean the walls of pools so they can climb vertically. The S50/E10 does not do walls and therefore may struggle with extreme slopes. You won't have any issues regardless of the slope if you...
