I noticed that the suction on my cleaner was a little weaker than normal. Sometimes it wouldn't get all the way to the top of the wall. The other day I removed the impeller and cleaned all the hair out (3 daughters...) and voila! Suction power was back.

Leave the floats alone and put the robot in the pool. Don't overthink it.

How do you cover your pool? This is what my NE pool looked liked on opening this year. This is typical since adopting TFP.

It's easier to clean a skimmer basket than a pump basket. A skimmer vacuum plate will allow you to keep the basket in and vacuum at the same time.

The Active 20 is the same as the S200, if I'm not mistaken. I have the Pentair Warrior SE, which is also the same as the S200, and it works great in my vinyl AGP.

I would suggest the S200 instead. This works great in my AGP (vinyl).

In the video it looks like it's bouncing around a lot. I wonder if the pump impeller needs to be cleaned so that it can produce more down force and therefore more traction.

I have checked the impeller assembly three times for any obstructions. It's going back to Marina tomorrow for a new one.

The only reason it turns now is because it hits my round walls at an angle and straightens out, which sends it on a slightly different path than it came in from. It will, given enough time, clean the whole pool, but takes multiple cycles. Of greater concern is that it doesn't move horizontally...
