Clear water ... until I brush!

You might check with your Home Depot again. Mine has curbside pickup. I order online, drive there, park in designated spots, and they bring it out and load it up for me. Walmart too.

    Aglae or Pollen

I had a week of pollen this spring, but it floated and caused a yellow ring on my tiles. I had to brush the tiles to get it back in the water to get to the skimmer. Water was always crystal clear, tested well, and was gone in a week.

Opening my pond (pool) again, but this year will be different . . . right?

    New Pool Owner Algae Disaster

You are doing great! Patience is the hardest thing sometimes. If you read back on some of the other great threads here when people had to slam their pools, they were sometimes going weeks and weeks before getting that clear pool. So you're fine, keep up the good work, we're all cheering for you.

    Is SLAM Process Complete?

I dont know how you got a CYA number of 32, but if its above 30, I believe you need to round up to 40, which gives a slam level of 16. Slam isnt done until your pool is crystal clear. You may have been under-doing the chlorine levels, tho Im sure smarter folks will correct me if Im wrong.
