What do you think these marks are? video attached...

Hi Fellow TFP'ers! I doubt anyone can identify this but I just noticed I have three or four marks like this at the vary bottom of my deep end. I can't scrubbed them out with a brush, but was able to remove most of the mark with a magic erasure sponge thing. Very odd marks, almost looks like a...

Real fireplace or gas for covered patio? Best heat source

Btw due to wood prices we put this project on hold until at least next summer! I definitely would do the gas insert for sure. We decided to buy a hot tub (installed last week) and put a metal roof on our house. I could not justify the increase cost of what the project should be.

Real fireplace or gas for covered patio? Best heat source

Hi Folks, I am thinking of add on a covered patio similar to this design but a bit longer, and making the end a solid wall to help with wind/privacy. I love the look for a real wood fireplace but since I am in the frozen tundra of Canada the amount of heat it will produce in the early...

heater running but water coming out is not warm

I am hoping to troubleshoot my heater. I noticed that the heater is running and the water coming out is not hot/warm. Usually you'd feel the water would feel warm at the jets but it just feels luke warm. I have the temp set to max and rebooted my omnilogic and the heater. It is a hayward 250...

I'd get dropped signals and lost connections constantly with my dual band router which was so close. I'd get a 5 bar out of 5 bar signal at the omnilogic when i had my...

Odd issue with speed on low setting on vs pump

Just and update....I did fix this issue. Was pretty simple the omnilogic had defaulted back to the standard flow rates of a minimum of 1500 rpm and I set it to 1100ish and the waterfall is back to normal! sweet.

Odd issue with speed on low setting on vs pump

This is pretty odd and no idea how to diagnose what the issue might be....so you'll see in my sig my full setup...omnilogic, vs tristar pump...etc. So I've noticed this year on the lowest setting on the omnilogic either at low or at custom setting for pump speed that the volume of water that...

chipping on stamped concrete at safety cover anchors

Thanks for posting these. I am going to check them out they seem like good ways to hide it. I noticed that today with the rain (such weird weather in Canada) that the chips don't look bad when there wet/coloured by the water. But some spots do look off due to the aggregate you can see exposed.

Thanks Pyrodav for all the advice! Much appreciated. To be fair I have no idea if it is the release or colour hardener. I know it was a powder they put on after the concrete was poured.

Thought an update was in order...the pool is functioning well.
