We are really splitting hairs if it’s off by a drop. 70 vs 80. In this case I am not sure it really makes much difference. It’s also possible I used the smaller sample size, which has a multiplier of 25, in which case 75 is a reasonable measure, and not necessarily inaccurate in this case.

TA is measuring 80 today. It turns pink at 70 and brighter at 80, so I probably split the difference.

I measured TA yesterday before I raised the chlorine levels, so no, not an estimate. And yes, I usually use the 10ml for chlorine. Will try displacing water.

The staining didn’t appear immediately. The pool builder treated it as iron, since it has a slight yellow tint around it, but it appeared around a month after being filled. Nothing really seems to lighten it, and I am now wondering if it is from when the pool was filled. Check out the hose...

I have the blueriiot version. It’s great for monitoring water temp, and the pH and salt level are pretty accurate so far. Mine measures orp, but it doesn’t really give me fc levels. So I disregard that. I like it as a quick ph measure on the pool, since it’s new, and creeps high pretty quickly...

Pinch a penny doesn’t have an iron test today, but they did test my water. They used all of it, so I can’t check the other location. CH is higher than my test. I did add a liter of chlorine after my testing this morning.
