CYA is 30 - I know how to test FC with my kit and when I add back the regent is where I get the total C - normally I see no change or 1 drop of the 871 clears it back. Just took a little more so being that wondered how to impact the total . I know for the free I going to add about 36 oz of bleach

Thanks. I think once again I was not clear - I should have been more focused in my question around flow rates to ensure the heater works properly when kicked on for the pool , or hot tub. Or flow rate to ensure the skimmer is drawing properly to clean properly

OK, so it is not the 1 hr. run time per 10 degrees in temp ? I do use liquid chlorine - I just thought you needed X flow to ensure like the heater is going to work properly if kicked on as example or X RPMs to ensure the side skimmer has the proper flow going in , etc.

Thanks - Sounds like the rate of rise is not a concern however look to keep the PH more in range with a mid week adjustment.
