Pool construction finished last March and we used year around so it isn't just opening up. Free Chlorine - 7.6 Total Chlorine - 7.6 PH - 7.8 Total Alkalinity - 120 Cyanuric Acid - 80 Hardness - 140 Salinity- 3200

Does anybody have any idea what this could be floating on the pool surface? I originally thought it could just be accumulated pollen or something else from the environment but it has stuck around for a few weeks. In clumps together in some areas and doesn't seem to be going away. Picture 1...

Stupid question here! Do we have to use a special low volt transformer that can be hardwired or can we simply hack the plug off and hook up the wires as applicable?

Pavers all laid!!! I was fully expecting big round skimmer caps and drains in the decking but not with this guys! They cut and leveled paver skimmer tops and drains! Truly top notch pool builders!!! Landscaping then Pebble Sheen then SWIMMING!!!

Yes there are two drains in the sitting area and one inside the fire pit itself. These guys are so detailed and meticulous. They didnt want a visible drain so they cut slits in the flagstone for water to drain into the pipes below. Invisible to anybody other than me!!!

FINALLY, the stone guys finished up today. Many, many, many tons of rock hand chipped, placed like a puzzle and installed. Next up is the paver decking!!

The stone team arrived yesterday to get started on the tile, coping and stacked stone. The amount of manual labor that goes into chipping, chipping and chipping all these natural rocks amazes me! Tile is National Pool Tile Ridgeline Blue Slate!

The decking extends five feet in that area.

After some heavy rain last night, it looks like we have a little ground water seeping in through the Gunite wall. This appears to be the only spot. Is this normal?

Our yard is completely flat so they have to make a gravel pit for the drains in the recessed sitting area and fire pit. The drains are four feet below waterline so that is one deep pit.

AND we have a completed dig. Now time to go do what KimKats said and verify everything is correct! Rebar and plumbing tomorrow!
