Looking for Electrician for Intex Ultraframe in Southwest Ohio

Keep in mind not all municipalities will allow everything the code book states, the inspector having jurisdiction will have the final say. I would advise pvc and if the runs are long use rigid 90s. I typically get the pipe as deep as reasonably possible just so it stays out of the way. $1000...

proper wet niche flange installation for vinyl liner pool

Nail him to the wall by saying you want it installed per "manufacturer instructions" if he argues with you. I've seen alot of guys who have done stuff for 20 years do boneheaded things, lol.

Pool light conduit has me feeling like Curly Howard.

Electricians fish tape and some pulling string is what you most likely need, both can be found in the electrical department at your home improvement store

Where do you Attach handrail flanges on above ground pool, top rail or deck

My problem with the platform is it becomes a tripping hazard and if people arent careful getting out they could fall. I did mine basically like yours but I used 90s to turn down to the deck. your 45s are for a waste application but would technically work, just less pipe slides into the fitting ...

Where do you Attach handrail flanges on above ground pool, top rail or deck

I used pvc. Purchased a tee to slide over the handrail vertical and used fittings to get it to the deck. I can't take pics now though, don't have them in.

Huge hole in the bottom the pool liner. Some sand has been washed away.

Exact same thing happened to me, got a tennis ball sized divot with a patch in the middle, it has held up fine. Mine was close to the wall and I'm tall so I could hold myself down with the top rail

    Outdoor step lighting on Deck?

$65 is cheap, we're $115 hour. It is most likely something you can do yourself, just pay attention to any codes relating to wiring and pools, even if they are near the pool. As always, come back and ask questions.

    semi-inground pool (head is spinning)

My saltwater 8000 has been buried for 2 winters now and haven't had a single problem with it. I put a french drain around the bottom of the pool and back-fill on top of the stone for the french drain. Pool stores wouldn't touch my install because its semi in-ground, I think for liability...

    Neighbor complained: Draining pool.

I had this nightmare with my neighbor across the alley. Difference was that no water went onto anybodys property at all!! It went into the alley and channeled perfectly down the middle to the main street and right into the storm drain. So far he has called the building department, code...

    Cantilever umbrella

We bought a portifino umbrella from costco. Let me tell you that thing is huge!! It wheels around pretty well and is very sturdy. It is definitely built better than the typical menards umbrellas, but it was expensive. We also bought most of out furniture there, love the return policy.

Recessed Doughboy, Kayak, Radiant, oh my!

The doughboy seems to be the only one in the ballpark, but its still pricey. Its hard to say without complete lists of equipment and such but those prices seem insanely expensive. You should be able to get a vinyl inground with small concrete deck for those prices.

When should I get a new liner installed.

Just remember to look into it now and not the spring, builders will be swamped and it may be hard to find someone to install it.

Anyone have these wedding cake steps?

I have them, love them from a function standpoint. They do take a serious amount of weight to hold down through. I have a total of 10' of 4" PVC pipe filled with sand attached to them and they still want to walk a little.

Previous homeowner removed concrete pool deck and left gap around skimmer

Only thing that comes to mind would be putting a block of wood inside the skimmer as a form and pour concrete to fill the void. You could pour a square around the skimmer and finish any pavers pretty easily. Just gotta make sure your wood is secure and sealed to prevent a concrete blowout into...

Intex Saltwater System- Should I return it?

I have the Saltron retro xl. I like it because it just hangs over the edge and doesn't require the pump to run to produce chlorine. I think a inline swcg makes for a nice install but I don't like having to run the pump to produce chlorine.

    New home, annoying pool

Have you read the manual for the filter? Yes, charging it is replenishing the de. You don't have to treat it like a sand filter with the constant back washing, you have to watch the pressure to let it tell you when to bump it and when to flush it. Say the pressure rises, you turn off the pump...

    New home, annoying pool

I have the same filter, I love it. You charge it and watch for the pressure change, then turn it of and bump it a few times to rearrange the de on the grids. Why are you back washing so much, algae outbreak?

    New Pool Leak While Filling

If it were me they would be replacing the liner. The pool was never technically completed and handed over to you, coupled with the fact that it sounds like a million people have tweaked and been in the pool trying to fill it means it's their problem. I refused final payout till mine was done...
