    Louie , no expert here also, BUT, this has typical algae symptoms. Until a TFP guide comes along tell us how you test your water quality and what test kit you use. Then list your latest test results.

    Did you clean your filter? With algae you'll be doing this frequently and adding lots of chlorine. Post your latest test results. What test kit do you use? Fill out your signature with all your equipment for all to see. Have you performed the OCLT?

    I use this for the skimmer basket removal and taking water samples throughout the winter ((with a Gatorade bottle), you may want to give it a go.

    Agree with WIREFORM pollen...we all here in Florida are in in the heavy pollen season , I suggest using those food handlers hair nets in your skimmer to catch that pollen before the filter. But check your chemistry as others have advise.
