So I really messed my shoulder up and I can’t manually brush the sides of the pool. Well I am having a hard time dressing myself at this point.

I was thinking of rigging up one of those rotary car wash brushes that spin and use my booster pump to power it. Then the wife could brush the pool.

What do you guys think? Dumb idea? Hard to find anyone who wants to work anymore it seems. Figured I’d throw the idea out there and risk getting flamed.

an idea is an idea I guess. Just don’t wanna brush too aggressively

If you have a booster pump, presumably to power a pressure-side cleaner, consider buying a Pentair Quattro. It has scrubbers front and bottom and climbs with ease. It's expensive, but you wouldn't have to DIY a weird brush. It could spell you and your wife from brushing and maybe save your marriage.

Try a wall whale
About a year ago read a post on here and I also purchased a Wall Whale and after using for the first time I couldn't help but think "I BEEN WASTING MY TIME ALL THESE YEARS" this brush clings to the wall and actually brushes it , all my other brushes floated away from the wall and JUST makes you think your brushing in comparison.

x3 on the Wall Whale. Like the post above, I spent years trying to hold the brush against the wall. Now it holds itself. Brushing the floor is also much more effective.

And I’ve been there with the shoulder injury. If you end up having surgery, once you’re doing PT, brushing the pool walls is actually a great shoulder exercise!
