Heater is after the financial dust settles. This pool gets all sun unlike the last one which was shaded most of the day. We might decide to skip it altogether.

Do you have a solar cover yet? Might help with overnight heat loss so you can keep the temp gains. That’s the main reason for mine + evaporation. I hate it but it works.
I did the love/hate thing with one for 5 years. When it finally popped I was relieved to be done with it.

Rectangular pool! Get a reel and its easy peasy.
Now these kidney shaped jobbers i keep getting involved with are a PITA with the solar cover. I am considering trying one again but slicing it up into 3 or 4 parts for easy handleing. The evap overnight has been crazy so far this season.
Had a love/hate relationship with a reel. When the cover died at 5 years, the reel had been MacGyvered well past its lifespan and I was just as happy to send them to the landfil as a pair. I mean. I would have felt bad if one of them was lonely.
*not an illusion this time. 760 lbs of salt to start. I kept 5 bags aside to creep up and possibly have as leftover spares.
The pool store brand was comically generic
But it had what I wanted to see, so in it went.
It sucked too. The water was getting clearer and then the dirty salt took me back a few pegs. But. Nothing a vac can't fix. T-Minus 24 hours to SWG liftoff.

I had to wait for the manager dude to pay them the build checks so I browsed for a while at the pool store. Their baqua section was the size of an end cap with shampoo like bottles. I mean. They were $34 each, but small.
