So this happened

The corners should be a rounded radius so that you are not trying to make a liner bead fit into a 90 degree corner, which will not work.

Description

The Z Poolform Bendable Liner Track is used to mount the Bendable Poolform on a free form vinyl liner pool as well as hold your pool liner. This product is meant as a replacement to the HZ Track or HM-1 liner tracks. The Z Poolform Liner Track can be fastened to the pool wall either with the use of our 1" Construction Screws or our 2" Polyester Mounting Tape.

Will bend to a 6" radius on inside and outside corners making corner pieces unnecessary.

Compatible with most Standard Bead Liners.

Track is 3" wide (ideal for use with concrete wall liner pools).

Because it is made from extruded PVC, it is safe for use with saltwater systems and bonding is not necessary.

The 90 corners are standard operating procedure for PB, the last one was the same. 2 inches below the top edge the liner itself had some roundness to it the rest of the way down.

The electrician said bonding the liner track was a new requirement last year. It went into effect Jan 1st so they didn't know 4 months later when they started building again until they failed the first inspection.

Are you standing by the water hose
Of course not. I had a long scheduled Dr's appointment at 12:30 (reason I was off) and they were expecting to turn the water on at 12:45.🤦‍♂️

Home now and it's on its way.

MY home made filter is working like a champ. I am using a 1 inch sprinkler line that the dig crew was so kind to find for me. I figured it couldn't hurt to run it through polyfil. I was going to drill holes in a $8 bucket but then I realized I could buy/waste a $2.46 lid instead. 2 bags of $3 polyfil later and it was under $10 with tax. I drilled a bunch of holes in the pipe and smacked a T fitting on the end so the pressure didn't blow the bucket off. (The garden his has been removed and its all sprinkler pipe now) 20220622_130505.jpg

Do you have any concerns that they dry hung the liner? I’m not sure that it makes much of a difference myself. Mine was wet hung and somehow it still managed to leak around the bottom of the stairs and drained all the water out of the shallow end.

Also, is that mustard algae??????? :p

What is "wet hung"?
Basically when they don’t cut in the steps until after the shallow end has at least several inches of water. The reasoning is that the weight of the water will slowly start to tear the liner where the screws for the gasket are inserted though the liner because the weight of the water will start to pull at them if it’s dry hung. Supposed to make the gasket around the stairs less likely to leak.

My feelings right now:

:ROFLMAO: I keep checking to see if there's any new pictures. Really interested to see how long it takes to fill too.

Um... just get IN the pool. It would be a lot easier
It WOULD. But I'm not making any new divots and there are a bunch already. I am SO glad I happened to be off today to see how great they had it to start. I watched them pack and smooth every inch and it was a work of art. But then things compress anyway.
Just curious, what kind of a deck are you going with?
No idea yet, probably stamped concrete. We had pavers last time and it was a never ending battle with ants going after the sand base. Then fixing the low stones that resulted.
After the fill is it all ready to jump in?!
Yes but it's COLD. 59 degrees coming out of the pipe.

It's going well for a little over 3 hours. We always have better pressure from the late evening to early morning so I should pick up steam later. 20220622_154844.jpg20220622_154809.jpg
