O/B in Gilbert, AZ for 2nd time

Ok, figured some stuff out without the contractor since he hasn't shown 🤨. In one of the pictures you can see 2 boxes sitting on top of the pipes. One is the SWG and the other has 2 actuators in it. They are hooked up in the box 🤔. We also have another one we found in the garage. We have 2 pumps so do we need all 3 actuators?

Here is another picture of the pipes where he said the SWG will go on. It goes into the filter. View attachment 173411
The actuators will be installed on top of the valves but I’m curious how will the SWG get hooked up. Looking good so far!

@silvio I'm curious too. He told me it would go on the up and down piece that I marked in pink on one of the pictures. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I don’t know where these pipes lead to but I would expect the SWG to be right after the filter, before it splits to any return (jets, wall returns, quickskim, etc). It must be in-path regardless of which valve you turn. I would strongly recommend you get the contractor to label all pipes.

The deck company showed up this morning and covered the forms. We can't figure out why they didn't do it on Friday since we knew rain was coming before they came to pour. I guess it's better to send someone out, in the rain, on a Sunday, after it's already been raining 🙄.F8B2A8A3-C6B9-4441-AD88-FF55BC6AB9BF.jpeg

Got our mosaics today. They are so pretty! The pics don't do them justice. The shell is my favorite with the turtle a close second. I also got a couple Mickey heads to use as hidden Mickeys but didn't get a pic of them. They are a surprise for my son so I hid them 😉. I was so excited to put them out on the steps to see them but it is pouring so that will have to wait 😕. 18A3B0DC-018E-4E9B-BAC5-76F1E78ED11C.jpeg5D355EBF-8B29-4768-BC93-2A169253589E.jpeg7B51EDAC-1166-41B5-837A-7D7403639096.jpeg

@TexasRain Lived in Anthem and worked in Chandler 😱?! That was quite the commute.
Yes, we needed the rain desperately! It was the driest year I remember.
Yes, a lot of driving! I worked a 4-day week so a little better, and was an overnight shift so opposite regular rush hour! LOL

They look awesome, great pick! Where did you buy them at?

That was my bad, I had digging scheduled for today, so it *had* to rain :p

You got snow too?!?! North Phoenix got snow. We've just been cold and wet. While they were pouring our deck this morning it was nice and sunny. My husband, who's a UPS driver, was delivering just west of us about a quarter mile and got hailed on. Thankfully it missed us.
Hope you took pics of the snow ❄️.

Deck was poured today. Skies stayed clear over us. My husband is our UPS driver and was delivering about a quarter mile west of us. He got hailed on but there was nothing here. It is just SO COLD 🥶! I went grocery shopping earlier and it was 49 degrees. I couldn't believe how cold it was. That may sound warm to many of you but it's rare to be that cold during the day here. 7BAAC669-42E9-4CE7-806F-E5EF1B6C64CD.jpeg

Your deck looks beautiful! You must be thrilled! Wow, that was very lucky the weather missed you. I LOVE the look of a cantilever deck. My PB won't do it. 😞 We're getting pour-in-place coping as part of the pool special - but I asked, and they won't even do it if we pay them more. (Yes, got pics of the snow, just too lazy to put them on now . . . it's a multi-step endeavor!)

They won't do it? That is strange. I wonder why.
I'm so excited to be that much closer to all the dirt being covered.
His reasoning had to do with it being more likely to crack. However, I know it's done ALL the time AND my husband even had it around the last pool he had for 20+ years, and, no problem. We are going to talk to them again, but I remember they did a good job talking us out of it. How deep is the biggest section from the pool to your yard? We would have one that is 13 feet.
